Ilse Cilliers

Founder & Director

Ilse founded ICSC in 2000 after completing her Master’s degree in Journalism at Stellenbosch University. She is a former winner of the SakeBurger and Old Mutual Entrepreneur of the Year award. Her strategic mindset and commitment to devising engaging communication solutions are central to ICSC’s success. Ilse thrives on new challenges and exceeding the expectations of our clients. She starts every day with a mug of very strong coffee, so it’s no wonder she’s the ICSC early bird.

Arina Wilson

Editor & Translator

Arina has over four decades of experience as a copywriter and translator in the advertising industry. She is currently involved with ICSC as a freelance editor and translator. She enjoys the independence of freelance work and thrives on learning something new on each project she tackles. While words and communication fill up most of her hours, she enjoys travelling, walks on the beach and spending time with her grandchildren in her free time.

Tertius Nel

Web Developer

Tertius is an experienced website developer, who was first exposed to database programming while studying Accounting at the University of the Free State. Tertius is an advocate of responsive design and is known for remaining on top of the Internet’s ever-evolving technologies. He thrives on those ‘aha’ moments when he finally gets the expected result after struggling for hours with a couple of lines of code. Tertius loves camping, fishing and riding his off-road motorcycle.

Karen Nel

Copywriter

Karen is a writer and copy editor with over 20 years of experience in the media and communications industry – 14 of them writing and editing copy for ICSC. Her experience includes corporate and editorial copywriting, as well as creating engaging website and digital content. Karen holds an Honours degree in Journalism (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University and loves poetry, people-watching and running half marathons (especially when they are over).

Cara Mego

Graphic Designer

ICSC’s talented graphic designer, Cara Mego, holds certificates in Graphic Design and Web & Mobile Interactive Design from AAA School of Advertising. Cara loves the versatility of her job and the opportunity it grants her to work creatively on a variety of projects. She draws her inspiration from international design trends and destinations, so it makes sense that her ideal superpower would be the ability to teleport to anywhere in the world, at any time.
